Zovo Cooking Timeline

A Thanksgiving cooking timeline with a clock time for each step and no double-booked oven.

Zovo Cooking Timeline works backward from your serve time. Give it each dish with prep, cook and rest minutes, the oven temperature and whether it can be made ahead. It gives each step a clock time, finds dishes that need one oven at two temperatures at once, moves make-ahead dishes earlier to make room in the oven, and hands you a printable checklist PDF and a calendar file with a reminder for each step. A turkey helper uses the USDA roasting table and fridge thaw rule.

What it does

• Backward schedule from the serve time, across midnight and across days
• Oven conflict check for one or two ovens, with a preheat buffer between temperatures
• Make-ahead dishes moved earlier to the latest open oven slot
• Hands-on prep spread out so one cook is never in two places at once
• Turkey roast time by weight, stuffed or unstuffed, from the USDA table, with the 165°F safe temperature and thaw days
• Printable checklist PDF (Letter or A4) and an ICS calendar file with a reminder per step

Limitations

• It does not invent recipe times; prep, cook and rest minutes come from you (only the turkey has a built-in table)
• Turkey times follow the USDA 325°F table for 4 to 24 lb birds
• Rack space in the oven is not modelled
• Calendar times are local clock times without a time zone
